MM has sent us an update on her study abroad program in Canada - it sounds like she is having plenty of new and exciting experiences. Take a look at these wonderful photos that go with her report.（カナダ留学体験記、第3弾をお届けします。今回は、MMさんがカナダ国内の小旅行に行った様子を報告してくれます。）

7月中旬を迎え、ケロウナでも湖で泳ぐのにぴったりな季節となってきました。カナダ留学前半の授業は6月下旬に終了し、約2週間の休暇期間がありました。その期間を利用して、私はバンクーバーとトロントへ8泊9日の旅行に行きました。今回は、その旅行について紹介したいと思います。

バンクーバーを訪れた時期はFIFAワールドカップの開催期間と重なっており、街は世界各国から訪れた人々で賑わい、国際色豊かな雰囲気を感じることができました。また、ホストファザーのご両親がバンクーバーに住んでおり、現地で合流して様々な場所へ案内していただいたことも、心に残る素敵な思い出となりました。

トロントではロイヤルオンタリオ博物館やトロント大学のキャンパスを散策したり、世界的に有名なナイアガラの滝を訪れました。船に乗って滝のすぐ近くまで近づくことができ、その迫力と美しさを間近で体験できたことは、今回の旅行の中でも特に印象に残っています。

旅行を終えてケロウナに戻ってからは、ホストファミリーと一緒に休み期間を過ごしました。私のホストファミリーには6歳と3歳の女の子がおり、毎日賑やかで慌ただしいながらも、楽しく充実した時間を過ごしています。最近では一緒にさくらんぼ狩りに行きました。ケロウナがあるOkanagan Valleyは果物の産地として有名で、大きくて甘いさくらんぼを沢山食べることができました。

カナダでの留学生活も後半に差し掛かりました。残り約1ヶ月半となりましたが、一日一日を大切にし、たくさんのことを吸収しながら、悔いのないように充実した時間を過ごしていきたいと思います。
In July, Kelowna has become a great season to enjoy swimming in the lake. After finishing the half of my classes in late June, I had about two weeks of vacation, and I would like to introduce my trip around Canada during that time.

I traveled to Vancouver and Toronto for 8 nights and 9 days. When I visited Vancouver, the FIFA World Cup was being held, and the city was very busy with people from many different countries. My host father’s parents live in Vancouver, and meeting them and having them show me around many places became one of my best memories.

In Toronto, I visited the University of Toronto and Niagara Falls. I took a boat close to the waterfall and was able to experience its
incredible power and beauty. It was a very memorable experience.

After finishing my trip, I returned to Kelowna and have been enjoying my time with my host family. We went cherry picking together and had a wonderful time.

As you can see MM has been having a fantastic time in Canada, and receiving the world famous Canadian hospitality!
